AI strategy and engineering consultancy — from architecture to production deployment

The Problem

Companies know they need AI. They don't know where to start. The gap between "we should use AI" and "we have AI in production" is filled with consultants who deliver slide decks, not systems.

Most AI consultancies operate at one end: either pure strategy (no code) or pure implementation (no judgment about what to build). The companies that need help most are the ones stuck in between — they need someone who can assess the opportunity, design the architecture, and write the first production code.

The Approach

QuantaBridge Labs operates as a three-phase engagement:

1. Architecture — Assess the company's data, infrastructure, and team. Determine what's feasible, what's valuable, and what's achievable in the next quarter. Deliver an architecture document, not a pitch deck.

2. Implementation — Build the first production system. Not a prototype, not a demo — the actual system that serves real users. Ship it with monitoring, error handling, and documentation.

3. Enablement — Transfer ownership to the internal team. Pair with their engineers, document decisions, ensure they can maintain and extend the system without ongoing dependency.

What makes this different:

  • Same person does strategy and implementation — no "strategy team says X, engineering team builds Y" disconnect
  • Production-first — every engagement ships running code, not recommendations
  • Time-boxed — engagements end. The goal is to make the client self-sufficient, not dependent

The Outcome

Three engagements delivered in the first year. Each moved from initial architecture assessment to production deployment in under 4 weeks. Revenue driven: €120K/quarter through engineering decisions that unlocked AI capabilities for clients who had stalled on adoption.

What I Learned

The value of an AI consultancy isn't technical skill — it's judgment about what not to build. Most companies have ten AI ideas and resources for one. The consultancy's job is to identify the one that ships fastest, proves value clearest, and creates momentum for the others. Say no to nine things so the tenth actually works.
