About Olusola
I'm Olusola, a backend engineer and founder based in Helsinki. I build the infrastructure layer that SaaS products run on: multi-tenant control planes, event-driven backends, and data pipelines that connect systems at scale. Nine years in fintech and emerging markets. I grew up in Nigeria, started my career there, and eventually ended up in Finland.
Most of my work has lived in constrained environments: infrastructure that's unreliable, markets that don't behave like the case studies. Constrained environments produce the best engineering because the constraints force better thinking.
Currently building RetailLoop. Working on a Master's in IT at Metropolia on evenings. Writing when I can.

I spoke at EuroPython 2026 (Europe's largest Python conference, 25th anniversary edition in Krakow) on eliminating API connector boilerplate with LLM-powered discovery. Before that, a lightning talk at PyData Helsinki on the same ideas. I also appeared on the Edge of Intelligence podcast (AI in African retail) and Techpression TV (retail technology in Nigeria).
